Lily A. Akol
Director of Communication

Hon. Lily Albino Akol Akol is an Assistant Professor at the University of Juba Lily Akol and also serves as a Member of the South Sudan National Dialogue Steering Committee. She was a constitutional post holder, serving as the National Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Forestry and Tourism from 2013-2016.

Hon. Akol holds a MA in corporate and organizational communication at the Farleigh Dickenson University, New Jersey and a BA in French and English Language from the University of Khartoum and she has worked as a Director with South Sudan Anti-Corruption Commission; she has worked teaching and advocating for Sudanese refugee communities in Cairo, Egypt. Lily wrote several articles on the plight of South Sudanese women. Lily Akol is the director of programs and information for SSWEN.
